Gambia: Manjai Final Slated for Weekend Amid Furore

Manjai League final is slated to play in the weekend, amid on-going furore surrounding the big day.

Johanness FC takes a swipe on Fajara South on the occasion but increasing excitement couple with projection of a controversial final episode continues to dominate the waves.

In the build up to this weekend's final, controversy has reign in the Manjai League cup which needed a select independent committee's intervention by the Kanifing Municipal Council Sports Tribunal to rest the dust.

Earlier, Johanness had cried foul when Darusalam were declared finalist.

But Johanness wasted little time to pen an appeal alleging that Darusalam fielded an ineligible player - an appeal that was later approved and found to be convincing by the KMC Committee.

The two sides face off tomorrow at the Manjai Father Gough Complex.

The final was earlier canceled last month for security reason.
