Zambia: Whose K250 Million 'Dreams' Will Come True Tonight?

TONIGHT at the government complex of Lusaka, five youths will be battling it out to be crowned the first winner of the first ever Zambian music reality show, Dreams.

Months have passed and the executive director of the show Luckie Chiyowele, can only say: "we are proud that we have come this far and that the 28 of December will be written in someone's history as it will be a day of life transformation trough the much-liked realty show Dreams,"

The highly contested show saw the final cut down of participants to five last Sunday, declaring the final voting line for the ultimate winner open.

Though the grand finale date and town has coincidentally clashed with that of one of the world acclaimed musician Koffi Olomide who takes to the Zambian stage on the tonight as well at Pamodzi Hotel, Lakie has maintained faith in his local enthusiasts who have followed the show religiously.

"It would not make any sense having followed the show for months and missing its grand finale, I am very sure we will have a very good attendance" he says.

Tonight Zambia will see who walks away with the life changing 250 million kwacha worth of prizes. Is it Natasha, Blake, Zillah, Trinah or Shadreck?

According to Zamtel entertainment analysis, the prize is very much tied between two girls, the diminutive, Natasha who has proved to be extremely and excitingly versatile in her acts and Trinalh who has competed and trained on a continental level before and came out third.

The two just seem to possess extra energy above their fellow competitors though critically analysing the show; Natasha seems the favourite to lift the crown tonight.

Now, still enjoying the warmth of her bed a day after Christmas minutes past 10:00 hours, the full of life show host Lulu could not hide her excitement about this day (Grand finale) as she would say:

"I am excited... I can't wait to see who Zambia has chosen to walk away with the prestigious life changing prize! I believe that Zambians will come in numbers to support these budding and amazing youngsters it's been a sweet journey and I can't also wait for Dreams season two."

Anyway, exciting indeed taking an interview from the comfort and warmth of your bed! Well that's it but as for tonight, it's GAME ON!
