Nigeria: Commuters Heading Toward Ore Stuck in Traffic

Commuters heading toward Ore and beyond were stuck in traffic, Friday. From the Lagos end of the busy Lagos- Ibadan expressway up to Omotosho on the Benin-Ore road in Ondo state had not been a pleasurable ride for travellers due to traffic snares.

Close to Omotosho, on the Benin-Ore road the gridlock looked impassable as both side of the road was blocked.

To worsen the situation vecheles from Benin axis flouted traffic rules leading to complete gridlock.

Many commuters were stranded due to broken down vehicles as a result of over heating and other problems necessitated by large numbers of vehicles on the road.
