Angola: Media to Prioritise Approval of Communication Sector's Legislation in 2013

Luanda — The Angolan Social Communication minister, José Luis de Matos, on Friday in Luanda said said that the sector will prioritise in 2013 the approval of the legislative package.

The minister said so when speaking at the year-end greeting ceremony.

In addition, the official said that this action is the accomplishment of a guideline expressed by the head of the Angolan Executive, José Eduardo dos Santos.

"We have already a team working on the revision of some details, before submitting the document to Parliament for approval. We will soon set out talks and co-ordinate with the 6th Commission of the National Assembly (...) whose chairman has already expressed publicly his full availability to assist us with this task," he said.

José Luis de Matos also expressed the wish to continue the dialogue on the various activities to be developed, both by his initiative and various public and private structures of the sector.
