Angola: Luanda Governor Checks Roads for Year-End Race

Luanda — The provincial governor of Luanda, Bento Bento, Minister of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba and technical commissions of the government and the Angolan Athletics Federation (FAA), checked on Friday the road situation for the yearend Saint Sylvester race, set for 31December.

The staff began to check at the starting point at Mutamba square and then toured the streets of Amilcar Cabral, Serpa Pinto square, Comandante Valodia, Ho-Chi-Minh and Deolinda Rodrigues, 4 de Fevereiro, Cirilo da Conceição, Manuel Caldeira, Francisco Necessidades until Coqueiros Stadium.

In conversation with his direct employees, the governor told them speed up the works along the roads, so as to ensure decent conditions for the runners on 31 December.

The race will start at Mutamba square and will finish at Coqueiros Stadium.
