Luanda — The fishing production in the country reached this year 354.500 tons, with a differential of 294.500 tons above import of fish, currently estimated at 60.000 tons.
Despite the disparity, the figures meet the population's needs in the supplying of fish for the direct consumption.
This information was said this Friday in Luanda by the incumbent minister Victória de Barros Neto, during the year-end greeting ceremony.
According to her, the production of dried fish dropped slightly, achieving in 2012 about 25.000 tons.
She said that the cooling continues to be the most common processing way.
