Angola: Kwanza-Sul Cement Factory to Start Functioning in 2013

Sumbe — A cement factory will start functioning in November 2013 in Cuacra community in the central Kwanza-Sul province.

This was said to Angop on Friday in Sumbe district by the plant administrator, Tembua Muzaco Roberto.

He said that the factory will produce 4.500 tons of cement per day.

In addition, the source said that the construction works are under the charge of the firm of Eta star from Dubai and the inspection is being done by Angolan one JVT.

The project worths USD 600 million and is part of a financing of the South Korean multinational Samsung Corporation.
