Tunisia: Tunisair Staff to Be Reduced By 1,700 Officers

Tunis — "Some 1,700 officers will be laid off during the 2013-2014 period as part of social cleansing to be adopted by the company with a view to easing the burden of the wage costs," CEO of the company Rabah Jrad announced, on Friday during a meeting with the press in the Tunis stock market.

The company counts presently a staff of 8,500 officers.
