The number of reports received by the Ethics and anti corruption commission reduced by 26.4 % to 5230 this year as compared to 7109 last year according to this years annual report. Out of the cases reported 2183 were within the commissions mandate while the rest were referred to relevant authorities. A majority of the complaints were administrative in nature accounting for 21%.
