Rwanda: Very Happy New Year for 33 MTN Clients

At its main headquarters in Nyarutarama, MTN Rwanda, the largest telecom company in the country, on Friday gave away a total of Frw 4.9m to 33 lucky winners who participated in its ongoing Sharama-2 promotion.

29 MTN customers were given Frw 100,000 each, which was automatically credited to their Mobile Money accounts, while 4 winners received a check of Frw 500,000.

The Sharama-2 Promotion has started on November 21 and will end on January 21. Prizes to be won include four cars and other prizes worth Frw 40m in total, both cash prizes and goodies. The competition is open to all MTN subscribers, who just have to send the text message "MTN" to 155, or call the number. The more you send SMS or call, the more you earn points for the draw.
