Kenya: Ruth Matete Rocks Her Fans in Limuru

Tusker Project Fame Season 5 winner Ruth Matete rocked her fans at Alders Fort in Limuru on Christmas day. She was backed by her father Abel Amunga who plays Mwambu in the local TV drama Mali.

Ruth, who worships at House of Grace Nairobi West, performed gospel songs among them her favourite Halleluya by Angela Chibalonza and Kidum.

Present during the celebration was the restaurant's operations manager Victoria Kahuki, Free Pentecostal Church's Rev Peter Mungai and Kenya Football Association Limuru branch official Kimani Njenga.

Ruth, whose mother passed on when she was eight, was raised by her dad. There were interesting activities for the children including face painting, bouncing castles and swinging. The alcohol-free restaurant is located at the heart of Limuru town.
