Rwanda: Kwizera for Kampala Gospel Gig

Tomorrow, December 31, Rwandan gospel sensation Alfred Kwizera will join Ugandan gospel singers to bid 2012 goodbye.

Kwizera will perform at the 11th Annual Passover Festival at Namboole Stadium in Kampala, Uganda. The event is organised by Pastor Joseph Sserwadda, a senior pastor at Victory Christians Centre in Kampala.

Kwizera is the only Rwandan artiste invited to perform at the event that aims at uniting Christians. Also queued up to perform at the annual gala are top-notch Ugandan artistes, including Judith Babirye, Wilson Bugembe and Ken Miziki among others. This will be Kwizera's third time to perform at the prestigious event.

End-of-year prayers are commonplace in different parts of Kampala and the entire country. In Kampala there will be national prayers at Kololo Airstrip and at Nakivubo and Namboole stadiums.

We have also learnt that Kwizera plans to launch his forthcoming album when he returns from Uganda.
