Kenya: Families to Be Relocated in Baringo

Residents of Lari make their way through the floods following heavy rains.

More than 10,000 people will be relocated from their homes in Baringo where floods have caused rivers to burst their banks. Government officers have already issued an alert to the families to move out of the area to avoid disasters as heavy rains pound the region.Human rights official Amos Ole Mpaka says the affected locations where homes have been flooded include ilregambo, Salabani and Loropin.
