Eritrea: 15 Women in Dekemhare Town Receive Basic Training in Modern Ceramics Works

Dekemhare — 15 bread winner women in Dekemhare town received basic training in modern ceramics works for 3 months.

The bread winner women that were provided the training by the NUEW Dekemhare sub-zone branch displayed some of their works during their graduation ceremony that demonstrated their qualification.

Ms. Nigsti Abraha, head of NUEW branch office, described that the objective of the training was to enable the women improve their livelihood by exploiting the natural resources in their surrounding applying the training they received.

Ms. Freweini Teklemariam, who gave the training, on her part appreciating the interest the trainees have demonstrated during the training, expressed hope that the training they received would help them transform their livelihood for the better.

Representative of the trainees also indicated that the training they received was first of its kind in the sub-zone, and thanked the NUEW branch for the opportunity it provided them.
