Swimmer Oussama Mellouli on Thursday (December 27th) was named Tunisia's best sportsman of 2012, according to a poll organised by TAP. Fellow Olympic medallist Habiba Ghribi won the women's title.
Tunisian international and former Esperance striker Youssef Msakni won the best footballer category.
Some 150 journalists, coaches and other sports personalities took part in the poll. The award ceremony is slated for January 16th.
