Sudan: Peaceful Coexistence Forum to Be Held in El Fasher

El Fasher — Osman Mohamed Yousef Kibir, Governor of North Darfur, has announced a peaceful coexistence forum will take place in the second week of January with social leaders of Alwaha and Kutum localities.

He added that the forum will address the impact of the recent incidents which took place in the localities.

The governor added that a solid framework will be founded for future peaceful coexistence, during a meeting with a joint delegation of the two localities' leaders held in El Fasher on Wednesday, 26 December. According to SUNA, Sudan News Agency, the meeting discussed forum preparations, preparation of forum papers and discussed how to determine the cause of conflict between the parties.
