Kenya: PEC Orphans Get Christmas Treat

NAIVASHA Some 68 children orphaned in the 2007-08 post-election violence got a rare treat when students from Mt Kenya University gave them food and gifts for Christmas.

The children from Prayers Beyond Boundaries Ministries Home Care Centre in Mai Mahiu, Naivasha were happy when MKU Nairobi campus associate dean of students Lucy Kibe led students in distributing the treats.The children are being counselled following their traumatic post-poll experiences.
