Angola: IESA Church Holds Awareness Campaign On Drug Consumption

Ondjiva — The Evangelical Synodal Church of Angola (IESA) held on Saturday an awareness campaign on the drug consumption, in Ondjiva city, southern Cunene province, Angop has learnt.

The Pastor of the mentioned church, Joaquim Kambindagolo, said the action is part of the festivities of the Jesus Christ's birth and it aims to take the message to youngsters because they are the main victims of alcoholic drinks.

"We are concerned with the number of accidents all over the country, thus before the end of the year, we went out the roads of our city to warn the people to be careful and prudent, so as to prevent bad situations", he said.
