Angola: Bengo Governor Swears in New Staff

Caxito — The new members of the executive of Bengo Province, recently appointed by the provincial governor, João Bernardo de Miranda, were sworn in last Friday, in Caxito.

The governor invested Joana Pinto in the position of municipal administrator of Dembos, Fonseca Miguel Canga as commune administrator of Úcua and Maria da Conceição de Carvalho Francisco as commune administrator of Mabubas.

Were also sworn in Sebastião Luís Mateus and Maria António Gomes in the posts of deputy commune administrators of Mabubas and Úcua respectively, Isabel Pereira dos Santos Van-Dúnem Paim, as provincial director of family and women promotion, and Abreu Salvador Adão, as director of Dande Municipality's Supervision Office.

On the occasion, the provincial governor appealed to the new managers for greater responsibility and dedication in performing their functions, to correspond to the expectations outlined by the local government.

The new staffs of Bengo executive were appointed by the governor of Bengo, in the ambit of an adjustment of the organisational structure and functioning of the provincial government.
