Egypt: Prime Minister - Nation Is Committed to Fulfilling Its Obligations

Prime Minister Dr. Hisham Qandil said that he will hold a press conference today in which he will deal with the current economic conditions and the progress of national dialogue called for be President Mohamed Morsi.

In statements yesterday Qandil said that talking about the Egyptian economy bankruptcy is not correct adding states never go bankrupt. He added that bankruptcy applies to a company or a commercial corporation.

Qandil said Egypt is committed to fulfilling its obligations and pays salaries of the state civil servants. He said Egypt's capability to fulfill its obligations is not doubted.

Prime Minister Dr. Hisham Qandil said that President Morsi was very definitive in his statement adding the president shed light on the big challenges which are facing Egypt. He said after endorsing the constitution, the national powers are called upon to prepare for the coming parliamentary elections.
