Egypt: SIS Chairman - SIS Devotes Its Efforts for Nation's Interests

The Chairman of State Information Service (SIS) Ambassador Mohammad Badr al-Din Zayed asserted in an interview with "Akhbar Al-Youm" on 29/12/2012 that SIS will devote its efforts for the benefit of Egypt after the transfer of SIS affiliation to presidency.

Zayed noted that the features of development will include home and abroad. The beginning of the new year will witness establishing 4 new press offices in; three in Nile Basin countries, and fourth in the Western Africa.

The activities of 32 press offices spread in major Egyptian embassies abroad will be renewed, in addition to 95 offices in Egypt's governorates.

Zayed said that SIS is the official body which is responsible for state media and does not serve a specific political faction.

The experts of SIS will be spread among public gatherings, such as laborers in factories and students in schools and universities to provide services and deliver new media tasks they are entrusted with topped by " service of development", the ambassador said.
