Angola: Higher Education Minister Swears in Staff

Luanda — Higher Education minister Adão do Nascimento has sworn in several new staffs with a view to bringing major dynamics to the activities of his ministerial department, ANGOP has learnt.

According to a press note, the government official invested Miranda Lopes Miguel in the position of general director of the National Institute for Management of Scholarships (INAGBE), Lopes Ferreira Baptista as general director of the Institute for National Assessment, Certification and Acknowledgement of Higher Education Studies.

Claúdia Maria Teixeira is the new assistant director of the minister's Office, Isabel da Conceição Mateus Sebastião is the director of the minister's Office for supervision, Ducialina de Fátima Pereira Bravo da Rosa Olim is the director of the Innovation Office of the secretary of State for Higher Education.

Menezes Clemente Cambinda took the oath is the new secretary-general, whereas Claúdio de Sousa Azevedo and Victor da Silva were inaugurated in the position of director of the Legal Office and the Office for Studies, Planning and Statistics, respectively.

Maria Andrina de Lemos Neto Rescova is now the head for Exchange and International Relations, Angelina Nassinga Domingas Canjengo is in charge of the Documentation and Information Centre, Cármen Ivelize Van-Dúnem do Sacramento Neto dos Santos is the national director for Graduation, and Massuquinini Inês is in charge of Advanced Training and Scientific Research.

The swearing in ceremony took place at the Agostinho Neto University Campus, in Luanda.
