Egypt: Mursi Meets With Arab Media Figures

President Mohamed Morsi met on Sunday 30/12/2012 with a host of Arab media figures partaking in an Arab forum in Cairo.

During the meeting, Morsi stressed the importance of the role played by Arab media to raise awareness among the peoples and to empower the Arab world.

The Arab media has a significant role to mobilize human and financial resources to help the Arab world achieve its goals, Morsi said.

The president also voiced his readiness to sponsor a conference on Arab media for Arab media professionals to discuss how they can utilize their message.
