An auction by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) to buy and sell US dollar succeeded in curbing venture on the currency rate.
The dollar is currently priced at EGP 6.36 to companies and institutions plus a 2 percent administrative fee to individuals and non-commercial entities.
