Angola: Illegal Immigrants Detained for Border Infringement

Mbanza Kongo — At least eighteen citizens from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) were detained last week by the Police for illegal staying in Northern Zaire province, Angop has learnt.

A press note from corporation also says that the mentioned immigrants were detained on border stations of Kinguvo (Noqui), Luangu (Kuimba) and Soyo.

The Police also frustrated five border infringement attempts on the common border with the Democratic Republic of Congo, over the last seven days, representing four more cases in comparison to the previous period.
