Angola: MPLA Hails Results Achieved in 2012 in Songo

Songo — The municipal committee of the ruling MPLA in Songo, northern Uige province is satisfied by the results obtained during the year 2012 in various areas of the life of the party in the constituency.

Speaking today, Monday to ANGOP, the first secretary of the ruling party here, Isaias Silvestre, acknowledged that 2012 was the year of many victories, with the enhancement achieved in the election campaign of 31 August, in which his party won the constituency with a qualified majority, without revealing the numbers.

The politician said that the Songo increased the number of militants of his party, as well as the basic structures in the previous year.
