Morocco: Raja Casablanca Top Botola

Rabat — Raja Casablanca snatched the Botola lead from arch-rivals Wydad Casablanca by beating guests RSB Berkane 3-2 on Sunday (December 30th).

Ahmed Sahmoudi doubled for the visitors (39'and 68') while Chamseddine Chtaibi scored for RAC in the 46th minute, Abdelmajid Eddine in the 87th and Yassine Salhi at the end of the match.

In other Day 14 action, Chabab Rif Al-Hoceima beat hosts OC Safi 3-1. Oumar Diop scored the first goal for the guests in the 19th minute, his teammate Imad Amghar added the second in the 38th minute, and Mehdi Ayyach scored the 3rd in the 45th minute, while Abdellah Madi scored the hosts' only goal in the 66th minute.

FUS Rabat beat hosts KAC Kénitra 1-0. The match's only goal was scored by Mourad Batna.

HUS Agadir drew 1-1 against visitors Wydad Casablanca. Ahmed Elfatihi scored the hosts' goal in the 10th minute while Karim Ait Derhem scored for WAC in the 26th minute from the spot.

In other matches, Wydad Fes drew 1-1 against Difaa El Jadida, FAR Rabat beat Olympique Khouribga 2-1, Moghreb Tétouan drew 1-1 against Moghreb Fès, and CODM Meknes drew 0-0 against RBM.

Mauritanian league leaders draw:

Mauritania football league leaders ACS Ksar were held to a 1-1 draw on Friday by ASC Trarza at the Stade Olympique in Nouakchott in their Day 7 game. ASAC Concorde and FC Nouadhibou, who both won their matches, are slowly catching up to them.

At first, the game between ACS Ksar and FC Trarza looked to be going Ksar's way when Bessam scored in the twentieth minute. But their young opponents from Rosso equalised during the second half.

Despite the draw, Ksar still lead with 17 points. The point that ASC Trarza managed to snatch gave them a total of 9 points.

ASAC Concorde secured an easy 2-0 victory over ASC Police. Concorde are now in second place with 16 points, putting pressure on the leaders. Police, who have only 6 points, are still in the middle of the pack.

In another match played in Nouadhibou, FC Nouadhibou extended their run of good form by beating ASC Kedia 4-1. During the game, FC Nouadhibou striker Al Mamy Traore, who bagged two goals, scored his first just 10 seconds into the match.

This comfortable win left the Oranges in third place on 14 points. Kedia remain at the bottom of the table with just 1 point.

Reigning champions FC T. Zeina made heavy weather of their 3-2 win over ASC Imraguens. T. Zeina only came through thanks to a last-minute goal by striker Ely Cheikh Ould Voulani. This win hauled them out of the drop zone and leaves them with 8 points. ASC Imraguens still have 9 points.

Meanwhile, ASC Garde beat Assaba 2-1. This win gave the team a total of 10 points. Assaba still have 7 points. ASC Tidjikja achieved their first home win of the season by beating Zem Zem 3-2. Thanks to this victory, Tidjikja now have 8 points. Zem Zem are stuck on 5 points.

Finally, CF Cansado strolled to a crushing 5-0 victory over ASC Armée, who took a real hammering. CF Cansado remain in fourth place with 11 points, while ASC Armée are now one from the bottom with 5 points.
