Kenya: Teso Gets Its First Library

AN NGO yesterday gave Teso residents a befitting New Year gift by launching the first public library in Teso and Busia. Kiwimbi International in collaboration with Malaba Town Council launched the Library at the Town Council Social Hall in Amagoro.

CEO, Prof Olubayi Olubayi said the library has been stocked with over 10,000 volumes of books valued at over Sh20 million. Kiwimbi International chairperson, Lynne Rathgeber and Busia governor aspirant Philemon Imo graced the occasion.
