Kenya: Food Donation

Families evicted from Mau Forest yesterday received food donations from well wishers on their new settlement at Jober farm in Soin division,Kericho district.

The 148 families are among those settled on a 445.6 acre land by the government in November.Each family is set to get a two and half position of land after demarcation.

Justice Kemei, a URP aspirant for the new Sigowet/Soin constituency o donated the foodstuffs and urged the government to hasten the demarcation of the land . "The families need to be issued with land title deeds so to be assured of ownership" Kemei said.
