Angola: Intense Angola/Namibia Migratory Movement Recorded

Ondjiva — The department of the Migration and Foreigners Services (SME) in Cunene province recorded, in the last 14 days, 29,571 migratory movements at the Santa-Clara, Kalueque and Ruacaná border posts, with the neighbouring Republic of Namibia.

According to the report of SME, made available to ANGOP this Tuesday, from the people who crossed the border, 19,890 of them are Angolans and 9,681 are foreigners.

From the number, totalling 29,571 people, 2,429 showed tourist visas, 100 expatriates, 13 residents and 6,945 Namibians with crossing passes.

Among the foreigners, highlight falls to Namibians, South Africans, Portuguese, Brazilians, Cubans, Chinese, Spanish, Malians, French, Mozambicans, Americans, Zambians, Rwandans, Canadians and Russians.
