Angola: Number of Assisted Runners in Year-End Race Rises

Luanda — At least 89 runners were assisted on Monday at Luanda's Coqueiros stadium, after the holding of the 57th edition of the traditional yearend race dubbed 2012 Saint Sylvester, won by the Ethiopian and Kenyan runners Atsedu Tesfaye, and Jeptoo Priscah in males and females categories, respectively.

According to the head of the Integrated Medical Services Team (SIEM), Ezequiel Hichica, in 56th edition in 2012 it was only assisted 12 athletes, figures that rose this year.
