Tanzania: 'The Regrand Utalii' Band Launched With a Bang in Dar es Salaam

THE newly introduced dance music band dubbed 'The Regrand Utalii' has vowed to treat the music and entertainment fans in Dar es Salaam and other parts of the country to perfection.

Speaking in the city on the New Year eve at the Mikocheni Resort Centre, the band leader Dolphin Mununga said they are prepared to ensure they give the music enthusiasts what they deserve.

He said the band which has been formed in November is conducting the shows at the ultra modern Mikocheni Resort Centre every Friday and Sunday.

"We are happy that fans have given us a good start as we enjoy the maximum support and we will ensure we do not let them down," said Mununga. So far the band has 12 artists and three stage show dancers, who are well skilled. Mununga is a solo artist and he has worked with a renowned musicians including Ndala Kasheba.
