Angola: Head of State Gets Jornal De Angola Award

Luanda — The first edition award of the Daily Newspaper, Jornal de Angola, went to the Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, Angop learnt on Monday.

According to a press note from the newspaper, the award was given to the head of State as an acknowledgement of his contribution to the development of the press in Angola, consolidation of national independence, defence of national integrity, promotion and defence of human rights, projection of Angola in the international community and efforts for peace and stability in Africa and world.
