Angola: Literature Brigade With Positive Work

Huambo — The provincial secretary of Huambo Youth Literature Brigade, João Lara, Tuesday here considered 2012 a positive year regarding the dissemination and preservation of the Angolan literature.

João Lara added that of the 25 books released by the Youth Literature Brigade in the region, two belonged to local authors, namely

Gugu Roque Sapengo and Elisa Vissunha, titled "O coração de uma mulher" and "Navegando no tempo", respectively.

In addition to the publication of the books, the source said, the Youth Literature Brigade in central Huambo province ran in the period in respect several lectures of academic, cultural and political character, involving the clarification of matters concerning the youths and

students of the province.

On the other hand, the official pledged more attention to the sector this year, seeking more incentives to the publication of new local literary works, with the involvement of the youths.

The Youth Literature Brigade in Huambo has 200 members and two nucleus of literary workshops.
