South Africa: IFP Mourns PAC's Mkhwanazi

press release

The IFP Leader of Opposition, Blessed Gwala has mourned the death of the PAC Leader, Joe Mkhwanazi, who passed away early in the week. Gwala said as the IFP they worked well with Mkhwanazi since he became a Member of the Legislature in 1994.

"We wish to convey our condolences to the Mkhwanazi family and the PAC for the departure of this son of the soil. Mkhwanazi is among the men and women who sacrificed themselves for the good of South Africa. The IFP will forever salute him for his heroic struggles against apartheid," said Gwala.

"We worked well with Mkhwanazi when he joined the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature in 1994. In fact, despite differences there was never any bad blood between the IFP and the PAC," he added.

"May his soul rest in peace," Gwala concluded.
