Sudan: KQ On Plane Emergency Landing in Khartoum

Kenya Airways boss Titus Naikuni says the plane that made an emergency landing at the Khartoum International Airport shortly after taking off had experienced an engine malfunction.

He says the captain made the decision to turn back as a standard safety precaution to avoid putting lives at risk.

He says the affected passengers and crew members on board have been offered an alternative flight.
