Luanda — At least 13 people died and 120 were injured when faithful of the Universal Church of God Kingdom were preparing to mark the year-end with a mass at Cidadela Stadium, in Luanda, on Monday, Angop has learnt.

The spokesman of the fire department, Faustino Sebastião, said that the accident took place when faithful tried to get into the stadium to watch a religious mass promoted by the Universal Church of God Kingdom.

The source added that the deaths were caused by suffocation and crushing.
