Kenya: 53 People Died During the Christmas Week

Kenyan roads claim over 40 lives since dawn of the new year.

53 people lost their lives this festive season as a result of road accidents. Deputy Traffic Commandant Samuel Kimaru says they died in 46 separate incidences that occurred between 23rd and 27th December. He says another 146 people sustained serious injuries in 63 accidents.
