Kenya: MPs Asked to Consult Kenyans Over Gender Rule

MPs have been urged to consult and incorporate the views of the general public in the implementation of the one third gender rule after the Supreme Court ruled that the rule needs be implemented progressively.

Speaking in Meru when she made donations to street children for new year celebrations, former LSK vice chairperson, Florence Kajuju, said the supreme court ruling was self defeating and doesn't deliver on the vision and mission of Kenyans.
