Eritrea: Public Library in Hagaz Semi-Urban Center Rendering Commendable Service

Hagaz — The residents of Hagaz semi-urban center said that the public library there is rendering commendable service. Accordingly, it is playing vital role as regards popularizing the norm of extracurricular reading among students.

Among students, Samrawit Azazi, Winta Enqobirhan, Musa Mahmoud and Idris Solomon expressed satisfaction with the resources in the library, and called on fellow students to use them effectively. Ms. Saba Woldai, head of the library, explained on her part that 70% of the regular users constitute students, while the rest are civil servants.

Hagaz residents further called on pertinent bodies to extend a helping hand towards upgrading the library's capacity.
