Three of the Algerian diplomats kidnapped last April in Gao by al-Qaeda splinter group Movement for Tawhid and Jihad in West Africa (MUJAO) appear in a new video obtained by Mauritanian news agency al-Akhbar on Tuesday (January 1st).
In the video reportedly shot in November, the hostages are reportedly seen calling on Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika to help them get home to their families "sound and healthy".
