Angola: Defence Minister Announces Military Census

Luanda — The military census for Angolan male citizens born in 1995 will take place in the whole country and abroad from 07 January to 28 February.

According to a dispatch from the National Defence minister, Cândido Pereira Van-Dúnem, and in line with the Law Number 1/93 (Military Service Law), the General Staff of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) must instruct the mobilisation and recruitment organs in regard to the way in which must be fulfilled the norms for the execution of these measures.

The military census is conducted in collaboration with the municipal administrations and diplomatic missions abroad.
