Angola: Vice Governor Appeals for Participating and Acting Civil Society

Sumbe — The vice governor of Kwanza Sul Province, Maria de Lurdes Veiga, last Wednesday in Sumbe City called on the organisations of the civil society and journalists to double their actions which contribute and help the government to solve various social and economic issues that affect the populations.

Speaking to the press, about the first working day of the civil service, Maria de Lourdes, said that the government has outlined a plan for the political and social sector, so it encourages society to multiply their actions for the required contribution, so that the government give the appropriate response to the various issues faced by the population.

He noted that the promotion of participatory democracy, harmonization and stability of society is growing, so, there must be an ideal partnership involving the various shareholders and social partners of the government, in the pursuit of the common objective of social, economic and political stabilization.
