Angola: Bie Governor Hands Over Ambulance to Central Hospital

Kuito — The governor of the central province of Bie, Álvaro Manuel de Boavida Neto, Tuesday, in Kuito city, delivered an ambulance to the general hospital, to facilitate the transportation of patients.

The delivery was made in the context of a visit made to that hospital, and he stressed that the vehicle will join the other existing ones and will help to improve the transportation of patients.

"We hope that this and other ambulances in possession of the general hospital efficiently support transportation of patients, in the neighborhoods adjacent to the city of Kuito, into the province," he emphasized.

In turn, the director of that facility, Mariana Fernandes thanked the initiative of the local government, and encouraged to continue with the same gesture, to allow the transport of patients.
