Angola: General Results of Athletics International Meeting

Luanda — The 1º de Agosto team had an outstanding performance last Wednesday, at the International Athletics Meeting, disputed in Coqueiros Stadium, in Luanda, by winning the 400 metres races in males category with Filipe Ngola and females with Maria José.

Filipe Ngola clocked 50.08 seconds while Maria José did 1 minute and 06 seconds.

1-Prisca Baltazar (1º de Agosto), 10.07 seconds

2-Osvaldo Alexandre (individual), 11.01 seconds

3-Issac Adão (individual), 11.06 seconds

100 metres (females):

1-Maria Tomas (individual), 7.03 seconds

2-Severina Chilala (Huambo Association), 13.06 seconds

400 metres (males):

1-Filipe Ngola (1º de Agosto), 50.08 seconds

2-Fermino Afonso (Petro de Luanda), 52 seconds

3-Rodrigues Arcanjo (Interclube), 53 seconds

400 metres (females):

1-Maria José (1º de Agosto), 1 minute

2-Laurinda Júnior (Naval de Ambuim), 1. minutos, nove segundos, cinco décimos

3-Maria Evaristo (Interclube) 1 minute and 10 seconds

1.500 metres (males):

1- João Pedro (Interclube), 4.08 minutes

2-Felix Eurico (Petro de Luanda), 4 minutes and 11.08 seconds

3-Caetano Andrade (Malange Association), 4 minutes and 18.04 seconds
