Hundreds of the Public Prosecution members agreed on Wednesday 2/1/2013 on suspending work at all prosecution from January 8-10 amid a continued crisis with Public Prosecutor Talaat Ibrahim.
The step was taken at a meeting attended by hundreds of prosecutors and chaired by the head of the Judges' Club Ahmed el-Zend.
They demanded the Higher Judicial Council to convene on January 9 on the crisis in light of Ibrahim's refusal to step down.
