Angola: Family Ministry Dismayed At Vigil Victims

Luanda — The Ministry of Family and Woman Promotion on Wednesday here expressed its constraints for the death of 13 people and over 100 injured, following the vigil of the Universal Church, on December 31, at Cidadela National stadium, Angop has learnt.

The Ministry presents sorrow through a press note from the incumbent minister, Filomena Delgado, who says that she and her staff addressed to the mourning families their sorrow and rapid improvement for those ones that continue sick.

The leader of the Universal Church in Angola, Bishop José Augusto Dias, explained in a press conference that the congregation intended with this vigil to provide the spiritual needs of the faithful.

"There have been over the last days many speculations about the event, said the clergy in a press conference held on Wednesday.
