Kuito — The governor of the central Bie Province, Álvaro Manuel de Boavida Neto, on Thursday in Kuito City said that the Provincial Government this year will invest more in programmes aimed at improving the sectors of education and health.
Speaking to ANGOP, the governor stressed that his executive has planned to build and equip schools, as well as train education and health staffs, especially in the interior of the province.
"This year, our commitment is more turned to institutions, without leaving other sectors aside, so that there can be more and more improvement in the quality of teaching and learning, as well as in medical assistance", he emphasized.
Álvaro Manuel de Boavida Neto went on saying that with this action, the Bie Province Government intends to give a facelift to difficult access zones.
Boavida Neto explained that his executive intends to take health services closer to the communities, so that the citizens can have better medical assistance.
