Angola: Theatre Agents Attend Training Course

Luanda — The theatre agents of Luanda province will participate on January 8, in a training action, promoted by Globo Dikulo organisation, in partnership with non-governmental institutions in France.

The 30-day training aims to salute the National Culture Day and January 9, the day of commemoration of the Cazenga district, in Luanda.

Speaking to ANGOP on Thursday, the general director of the centre's artistic animation of Cazenga, Jojo de Lima said the training action will be guided by French technicians, the result of an agreement signed in 2010.

He stressed that the training of actors in the capital is an opportunity for men to increase their knowledge of theatre and acting in theatrical expression.

"Under an agreement with two French NGOs, technicians specialized in theatre come to Angola to complement the work started two years, and this time will be for 30 days".

Jojo de Lima said to be an asset not only for the actors in Cazenga, but for all people from Luanda, because the moment is an opportunity to exchange experiences, given the vast knowledge that the French have.
