Angola: Catoca Mining Project Director Calls for New Businesses

Saurimo — The director of Catoca Mining society, Ganga Júnior, has called a special attention to the new businesses with the implementation of the Luemba project and the start of the activities at Quitúbia, Tchiafua, Gambo and Vulege.

He also called on the collaborators for a good management of available resources for a better exploration of the firm and improve the mechanism of people management.

In a press note, Ganga Júnior highlighted the start of concessions in Gango, Luaxe and Lwange, as well as the definition of the basis for the introduction of a new cycle of tactical-operational planning.

The manager considered positive the accomplishment of the goals of the firm, although the fall of diamond prices at the market has reduced the Catoca revenues to 13 per cent.
